Broken Vessels

We're all broken. Whether we'll admit it or not. We are clay pots, cracked and splintered. Sometimes, I fee like I have been not only broken, but shattered.

We don't like to feel broken. We don't want others to know that we're broken. So, whenever possible, we try and cover up our cracks.

But, I don't think that's what we're called to do. We're all broken vessels, but we're not empty vessels. The Light of the world lives within us.

In our weaknesses, He is strong. In our brokenness, He is glorified. Because, the more broken away our lives of clay are...the more of His light shines through. We are the light of the world. Let Him shine through you!

Like Paul, rejoice in your weaknesses, for through them God gets the glory. Be a broken vessel that more of Him may pour from you.
